Man ends life upset over wife's self-immolation

Unable to bear the death of his wife who immolated herself over a family quarrel, a 32-year old man, injured in an attempt to save her, committed suicide in a government hospital here today.
28-year old Latha, wife of autodriver Ganapathi, poured kerosene and set herself on fire upset over a quarrel with her husband. Ganapathi tried to save her and both suffered severe burns on June 12.
Both were admitted to Mohan Kumaramangalam Government Hospital where Latha died. After seeing her body, Ganapathi hanged himself from a staircase roof, Acting Dean Dr Kattabomman said.
