On a complaint lodged by the 27-year-old woman, a case was registered and four of the accused, including the husband, were arrested, police said today.
As per her complaint, the woman was threatened by her rickshaw driver husband and forcibly taken to a flat in the heart of the city on two occasions on July 1 and June 30 where she was raped by six persons.
The case was registered at Njarackkal police station.
A special team has been constituted and hunt is on for three other accused, police said.
Police sources said the husband had taken the step following a financial crisis.
