Man found hanged from ceiling fan, family alleges murder

A man was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his house in north-east Delhi with his hands tied with a dog-leash, police said today.
Sheetal, a mechanic, was found dead at his DDA flat in GTB Enclave by his family members yesterday. His family members alleged that he was murdered, police said.
Around 11pm when his parents went to his room after he did not respond to their calls, he was found hanging with a dupatta from the ceiling fan.
They informed the police about the incident. The police said that the body had been removed from the spot and was sent for an autopsy.

Police said no suicide note was recovered and a probe has been initiated to find out the exact cause of death.
