Man gets life sentence for killing girl

A local court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for kidnapping and killing a three- year-old-girl for ransom.
Additional District Judge, Subedar Yadav yesterday awarded life sentence to Gulam Mohammad alias Mohammad Raj for killing the girl in October 2005 after he failed to get the ransom.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict.
