Man gets ten year jail for kidnapping and raping minor

A local court here has awarded ten years of jail term to a man, hailing from Attari village under Dharamkot Police Station here, for kidnapping and raping a minor Dalit girl.
The Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Gurjant Singh yesterday sentenced Rajwinder Singh alias Raju in the case.
The other accused in the case, Angrej Singh, was acquitted for want of evidence.
According to the prosecution, the accused kidnapped the girl in March last year and raped her.
