A man charged with sheltering the Maoists was arrested today with weapons in Bihar's Patna district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off that some Maoists had gathered at a house to plan extremist activities, a police team raided Bhinnak Bigaha village and arrested one Yogendra Yadav with two rifles even as the other ultras managed to give a slip, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jitendra Rana said.
Rana said that Yadav was trying to set up a gang with the help of some Maoists to carry out criminal and extremist activities.
