Tension prevailed in the area after people belonging to a particular community staged protest against the alleged objectionable comment posted on WhatsApp, Circle Officer S P Sharma said.
One Rahul Bhatnagar has been arrested for allegedly posting the comment in the WhatsApp group while a case has been registered against Sumit Bansal, the admin of the group, who is absconding, he said.
Investigation is underway and hunt is on to nab the absconding accused, Sharma said.
