Man held with country-made pistol, 16 bullets in Andheri
A man was arrested on Tuesday in Andheri suburb of the metropolis after police found a country-made pistol and 16 bullets from him, an official said.
Acting on a tip-off, DN Nagar police stopped Sandip Ramkishan Suhag (35) on Gulmohar Cross Road and searched him, he said.
"We found a country-made pistol and 16 bullets. He is a native of Haryana staying temporarily in Versova in Andheri west. He was produced in court and remanded in police custody till October 24," Senior Inspector Parmeshwar Ganame of DN Nagar police station said.
