Man held with drugs in MP

A consignment of drugs, weighing over 11 kgs, was recovered from a man at a bus stand here today, the police said.
"I had a talk with an Indore-based Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer who told me that a kg of the smack costs around Rs 2.5 lakh in the international market," SP Manoj Singh told PTI.
The accused, identified as Gokul, was on his way to Jaipur when he was rounded up at Soyatkala bus stand, some 60 km from the district headquarters on a tip off, Singh said.
As per the preliminary information, Gokul appears to be just a carrier.

"We have booked him under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Further investigations are on," the SP added.
