Man held with poppy in Jammu

A man was arrested with poppy here, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Acting on specific information, police intercepted the accused, who was coming from Bari Brahmana to Satwari here, last night, a police officer said.
One kg of poppy was recovered from his possession when he was searched, he said.
A case has been registered at Gangyal police station under relevant sections of the RPC. The matter is being probed, the officer said.
