Six men allegedly choked to death a 52-year-old man in Rajasthan's Baran district after an argument over the donation amount for renovation of a community temple, a police officer said today.
He said the six men have not been arrested yet as the matter was being investigated.
The incident happened last evening in Nayagaon village, which has a majority of members from the Meena community. The quarrel broke out after the community members argued over the amount the community members should contribute to renovate the temple.
The body of Dhanraj Meena has been handed over to his family after postmortem at a government hospital, he said.
