Man killed by neighbour over illicit relationship with wife

Suspecting his wife of having an illicit affair with his neighbour, a man stabbed him to death in Kalanjari village here.
Omveer (44) was stabbed several times yesterday by Ishwar Lal (30), a resident of Kalanjari village, following a heated argument between them a day before, they said.
After the act, the accused went to the police station and confessed to his crime, police said.
As per the District Police spokesperson, Ishwar Lal, suspected his wife of having an extra marital affair with Omveer. When the victim went to the fields to relieve himself, he was stabbed by Ishwar Lal.

The victim was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
An FIR has been registered against three more persons following a complaint by the victim's relatives, police said, adding the accused has been arrested and investigation is underway.
