Man killed by relatives for practising sorcery

A man was killed for allegedly practising witchcraft in Odisha's Ganjam district and three of his relatives were arrested in connection with it.
Sub-divisional police officer of Chikiti B P Mohanta said today the 46-year-old man was killed in Dhepaguda village and his dismembered body parts and a sword used to kill him were gound from different parts of Ramaguda jungle on Wednesday.
The three were arrested yesterday, he said adding all of them were relatives of the dead man and residents of the same village.
The accused allegedly dragged the man out of his house and took him to the jungle before killing him, police said they also allegedly attacked his wife when she protested.
The three allegedly killed the man suspecting him to be behind the death of some of their family members, the police added.
