Man killed, six of his family injured in mishap

A 30-year-old man was killed and six of his family were injured when two auto-rickshaws collided with each other near New Barauni Railway station today.
The deceased was identified as one Ravindra Rai (30) of Rautiahi Nayatola village.
The auto-rickshaw in which Rai was travelling with his family collided at high speed with another auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The injured include three children. Rai's wife is also among the injured, police said.
The drivers of both auto-rickshaws fled after the accident. The police has seized both the vehicles.
