A man allegedly shot dead his father and younger brother over inequal distribution of land in Saharsa district of Bihar today, police said.
His sister-in-law and nephew were also injured in the incident.
The incident occurred at Situaha Dih village under Salkhua police station when the man identified as Mantu Yadav alias Vinod Yadav shot dead his father Hardeo Yadav (80) and his younger brother Ashok Yadav (45), Salkhua police station SHO Tarun Kumar Tarunesh said.
Ashok Yadav was sleeping on the terrace with his wife Kanchan Devi and their son Bittu Kumar when he was shot dead by his brother Mantu Yadav, the SHO said
