Man kills father over trivial issue

A man was bludgeoned to death allegedly by his son in Churu district of Rajasthan last night.
Accused Vikas Jat, 30 allegedly hit his 50-year-old father Chandrabhan Jat repeatedly with an iron rod in their house in Hamirwas following an argument over some trivial matter.
The youth also attacked his mother and injured her as she tried to stop him, said SHO Pushpendra Jhajhadia of Hamirwas police station.
The autopsy was conducted today and the accused has been detained, he said.
