Man kills physically challenged son, wife and self

A 42-year-old man allegedly killed his physically challenged son, his wife and then committed suicide in Shantipur area of Nadia district today, the police said.
Sushanta Roy of Vivekananda Colony locality was found hanging in a room of his house while his wife Priti (32) and son Sandip (4) were found dead with their throat slit in another room of this morning.
Sandip was physically challenged and he cannot walk or speak properly. His father had a medicine shop.
Police suspect that Sushanta killed his wife and son because of some family problem and then hanged himself.
After being informed by neighbours who found the bodies through the window, policemen broke into the house and recovered the bodies.

Ranaghat SDPO Indrajit Bose said, "We have initiated a case of unnatural death and bodies were sent for autopsy."
Sushanta's mother Mina Roy had gone to a relative's home and returned after listening to the incident.
