The incident happened when the woman while returning from a temple noticed a man standing near her car who pleaded with her to give him lift as he has some urgent work, to which she obliged, Raidurgam police said quoting her complaint.
Police said after they left in the car, the man asked her to take the car towards ORR and started misbehaving with her even as she sent an message to the ORR police patrolling team for help.
"We are examining the complaint and have sent the woman for medical examination. Further investigations are on and we are in the process of registering a case," a senior police officer said.
