A housekeeping supervisor was allegedly murdered by three persons including his paramour after he refused to give her money, in Sarojini Nagar area of south Delhi, police said today.
Victim Santosh Kumar, 25, a native of Mathura, worked as a housekeeping supervisor at a hospital in Chanakypuri. He lived alone at Anant Ram Camp locality of Sarojini Nagar area and was allegedly having an illicit relationship with a married woman, said a police officer.
The body of Santosh was found lying near Palika Market in Sarojini Nagar, on Saturday. His identity was established by the police through the papers found on him.
During investigation, police came to know about the 40-year-old married woman with whom Santosh was reportedly having a relationship for the past one-year.
The woman having four children lived close to where the victim lived.
Police picked up the woman and during interrogation she admitted having been in a relationship with the victim. She also told police that earlier Santosh took care of her needs but of late he had been avoiding her and refusing her requests for money.
"The accused woman also accepted that she murdered Santosh along with two men who were known to her. The duo Babloo, 28, and Dinesh, 30, were also arrested," said the officer.
The victim was invited to her home where the trio allegedly killed him by throttling his neck, added the officer.
