The incident involving Ramesh Kumar occurred as he was on the road on his motorcycle.
Near Gol Chakkar here, two men came on a bike came and, pointing a gun at him, robbed him of Rs 40,000 in cash, his mobile phone and mobile phone recharge coupons. The incident took place in the Kasna police station area.
An FIR has been lodged in the matter and a search is on for the accused, police said.
