Man robbed of Rs 11 lakh in UP

Three motorcycle-borne miscreants allegedly looted Rs 11.82 lakh cash from an employee of a car agency in Sarfuddinpur locality here today, police said.
The incident took place when Raj Kumar, employee of an agency on Azamgarh-Varanasi road under Sidhari police station, was on his way to deposit the money in a bank, Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Chandra Dubey said.
The accused looted the bag containing cash at gunpoint and fled from the spot, Dubey said, adding, two people have been taken into custody for questioning.
