The incident occurred on Tuesday when Kamal Sharma, who runs a business of readymade garments had gone to meet Nadda at his residence, along with his friend, Nandkishore.
Sharma came to Patel Chowk with his friend who left for Gurugram after dropping him there. While Sharma was trying to book a cab, two bike-borne came from the direction of India Gate and snatched his mobile phone, police said.
Sharma tried to run after them but couldn't catch them. He borrowed a phone from a passerby and made a PCR call following which a case was registered.
