Special Judge Ravindra Singh yesterday awarded life imprisonment to Satish for shooting dead his mother, Bhoori Devi, on August 28, 2012 in Palia village.
In a statement made before the magistrate, Bhoori had named Satish as the culprit before succumbing to injuries.
A fine of Rs 5000 was also imposed on him by the court.
