Man shot at by neighbour

A man was allegedly shot at by his
neighbour over theft of electricity in Chamanganj area here, police said today.
Arshi Aziz (40) was shot at by his neighbour Shekhu yesterday when the former saw Shekhu illegally attaching wire to the electricity line, they said.
This led to a heated exchange between the duo. Later in the night, Shekhu along with his friends went to the victim's house, and allegedly shot at him, police said.
Aziz was rushed to the hospital by the locals where he was declared brought dead, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem, police said adding a case has been registered against Shekhu and efforts are on to nab him.
