According to the police, victim Harbhajan Singh and accused Binny had an argument over car parking on Friday, during which the latter had allegedly threatened to harm Singh.
The matter was not reported to the police on that day, an official said.
Yesterday evening, Binny turned more aggressive and allegedly shot Singh, who received a bullet injury on his right shoulder and was rushed to a hospital where he is presently recovering, the official added.
Binny fled the scene after the incident reported yesterday evening, a senior police official said, adding that he has been booked for attempt to murder and a police team is searching for his potential hideouts.
