Man shot dead by landlord in UP

A 22-year-old man was killed allegedly by his landlord who suspected the victim was having affair with his daughter, in Rajhans Vihar here, police said today.
The victim, identified as Vishal, was yesterday found murdered in the room in one Ranjeet's house, where he lived on rent, district police spokesperson said.
According to police, Ranjeet yesterday shot Vishal dead after he came to know about his daughter's affair with the victim.
Ranjeet is absconding since the blood-soaked body of the victim was recovered, he said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and an investigation is on in the matter, Spokesperson said.

As many as six person, including two women, have been taken into custody in connection with the murder, the Spokesperson said, adding efforts are on to nab the accused.
