Man shot dead in Jahangirpuri

A 32-year-old man was shot dead in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri by two bike-borne assailants last night.
The deceased, Dinesh Verma, was himself accused in cases of snatching and loot, police said.
He was with a female friend when the two came and started firing indiscriminately, they added.
While his friend had a narrow escape, Verma sustained bullet injuries in his stomach and was rushed to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital.
Police said he was referred to Max Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. It is suspected he was killed because of personal enmity, police said.
