Hasnain was seriously injured in a firing during a row over collections being made for laying an electric cable in the village yesterday, Superintendent of Police Sunil Saxena said.
The man succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, he said.
On the basis of complaint of the victim's family, an FIR has been lodged against eight persons, the SP added.
