"One person was injured in a stabbing incident. He was admitted today to the government run Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad (SSG) hospital in the city for treatment," hospital sources said.
Another person, who was injured in the Jagmalnipole area in the city yesterday, was discharged from SSG hospital today, sources said.
Incidents of stone-pelting were reported in the Wadi area in the city, locals said.
Vadodara has been on the boil after communal violence erupted in Yakutpura, Panjrapole, Fatehpura and Kumbharvada in the city on Thursday after derogatory posts about religion were put up on the social networking site Facebook.
Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Gujarat state home department S K Nanda had also visited the city yesterday.
