According to a police complaint, Shobhit and his friend Nanhe Lal came to a room here in an inebriated state and started drinking again.
Shobhit asked Lal to give him Rs 500 as labour wage but the latter refused. Both argued and came to blows soon after. Shobhit pushed Lal out of the room.
Lal, in a fit of rage attacked Shobhit with a knife and escaped only after neighbours raised an alarm. Due to excessive bleeding, Shobhit died on the spot.
