The accident happened near the Naval Dockyard here and police said that the motorcycle that the couple were travelling on lost its balance while trying to avoid another motorcycle.
The husband and wife duo fell off the motorcycle and got run over by bus belonging to the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, police said.
The bodies were shifted to naval hospital INHS Kalyani and Harbour police had registered a case, an official said.
