Manish is in Bangkok to start the first schedule of the film. He will be seen playing the role of a hardcore Punjabi for the first time.
The "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa" host will be in Thailand for an extensive schedule of almost a month.
"I'm really excited to be part of a successful franchise which is being made in Hindi. I am sure it will be an interesting experience," Manish said in a statement here.
"Jatt & Juliet 2" was a 2013 Punjabi romance comedy film directed by Anurag Singh. The film, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, received a positive response at the box office.
