The three-day conference on 'Economic and Security Policies - Challenges and Tools' is being organised by the Centre for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Tel Aviv, Israel, and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), of the US government.
He, along with another Congress leader Jaiveer Shergill, would speak on security and economic issues plaguing the South Asian region.
The Narendra Modi government is seeking to strengthen ties with Israel and the prime minister will visit Tel Aviv in July, following which his Israeli counterpart will make a return visit.
