Bhutto had bought Rockwood Estate in the English county of Surrey with her husband Asif Ali Zardari in 1995 and carried out a series of lavish upgrades, including a bomb-proof master bedroom.
The estate, set in around 350 acres of countryside near Godalming, is dominated by the main home which has more than 30 rooms and comes with its own airfield and hanger.
Bhutto and Zardari had denied owning Rockwood during corruption investigations in Pakistan in the 1990s but in 2004, the latter suddenly admitted that it was his.
The property changed hands in 2005, but has not been used as a family home for more than a decade.
"It is a fascinating and unusual property with amazing views. I understand there were all sorts of strange parties and goings-on that were held by some tenants who lived here for a while, but I don't think anything illegal went on and everyone seemed to have a good time," estate agent Nick Freeth said.
Permission has also been granted to redevelop parts of the estate, which will be auctioned on July 4 with a guide price of 10 million pounds.
