Sashashtra Seema Bal, Special Task Force and district police have arrested an ultra of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) from Bihar's Munger district, police said today.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashish Bharti said the arrested ultra has been identified as Ravi Ram alias Bhagna who is an area commander of Haveli Kharagpur area of the district.
He was arrested from Gidha village late last night.
The man has been booked in 11 cases under Arms Act and murders, Bharti said adding five of the cases have been lodged in Munger and rest in Lakhisarai district.
