Maoist operative held

A hardcore Maoist operative was
arrested today from a village under Dumaria police station area in Bihar's Gaya district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided a hideout in Talaliya village and nabbed the Maoist identified as Manoj Bhuian, Superintendent of Police (SP), City, Manoj Kumar said.
The ultra was wanted in the murder of two policemen in the district, he said adding, vital information has been provided by Bhuian during interrogation about Maoist activities in the region.
The arrested Maoist was later sent to judicial remand by a local court where he was produced, the SP said.
