Maoists arrested in Odisha

Two Maoists, one of them carrying a reward of Rs one lakh on his head, were arrested and explosives seized from them in a forest in Malkangiri district of Odisha today.
The ultras were arrested during a combing operation by police and BSF personnel at Kannaguda forest, police said.
One of them, identified as Deba Madkani(35), was carrying a reward of Rs one lakh on his head, they said.
The second Maoist was identified as Waga Podiani (23).
On the basis of information provided by them, the police seized some tiffin bombs, one landmine, 27 electronic detonators, Maoist banners, wire, gun powder and a plastic barrel, the police said.
