About 500 persons participated in the "Unity Run Marathon" on the eve of World Human Rights Day, celebrated on December 10 every year, the organisers said in a release.
Vijesh K Garg, VSM, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and senior officials from CISF flagged off the event.
Participants included those from NCC and NSS, organisers World Human Rights Commission and Rescue Center, said in the release.
