Mariah Carey engaged to James Packer?

Singer Mariah Carey has reportedly got engaged to Australian billionaire boyfriend James Packer, after eight months of dating.
Packer popped the question during a private dinner with Carey's close friends in NYC, reported TMZ.
Packer apparently got down on one knee and proposed to her with a 35-carat diamond ring in front of her close friends during a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park, NYC on Thursday night, January 21.
No wedding date is set just yet. The couple has not confirmed the engagement yet but if and when it does, this will be a third marriage for both the R&B diva and the businessman.

A source said about the couple, "They fell head over heels in love with one another. It's crazy how perfect they are together, they both know it and couldn't be happier."
The insider added, "As soon as their friendship turned romantic, they have wanted to spend every moment together."
Carey was previously married to Tommy Mottola and Nick Cannon. She has two children, four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, with Cannon.
