Married couple killed in road accident in UP

A married couple were killed on the spot after their motorbike was hit by a bus carrying tourists in Mahaban here, police said today.
The accident took place near Gokul barrage last night when the couple were going to Refinery Township in Mathura.
The deceased were identified as Bitthal Gautam (25) and his wife Gaura (22), residents of Mirzapur in Hathras district in western Uttar Pradesh (UP).
Police said the driver of the bus fled from the spot after the accident. The bus has been seized.
A case has been registered and the bodies sent for post- mortem.
