Married woman found dead in hotel room

A woman was found dead today under mysterious circumstances inside a hotel room on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road here today.
Sukhbir Kaur, who was in twenties, had come here with a person, Ramandip Singh, with whom she was reportedly had an affair.
Ramandip, who is married, fled leaving his two-and-a-half year-old daughter, police said, adding that the duo belonged to Kartarpur village of Kharar tehsil.
They had fled from their houses two days ago and checked in the hotel yesterday, police said.
Only post-mortem examination report will unravel the mystery behind her death, said police.
