Maruti sells 1,600 cars on 'Varamahalakshmi'

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India said it sold today 1,600 cars in Karnataka on the occasion of "Varamahalakshmi".
Maruti Suzuki has established itself as a market leader in automobile sales in Karnataka this year, commanding a market share of 42.75 per cent, it said.
The company sells on an average 7,300 cars per month in Karnataka. The major models which are sold in Karnataka are Swift, Dzire, Celerio and Ertiga. During the April to July 2015 period, the company has sold close to 1,200 units of Ciaz, a release said.
