Mary Kom's late father-in-law honoured at native village

Gunned down by unknown assailants close to a decade back, Olympic bronze-medallist Indian woman boxer M C Mary Kom's father-in-law Karong Rekhupthang Kom was honoured with a memorial stone at his native village in Manipur.
The memorial stone has been erected at the Samulamlan village and the inauguration was attended by Mary and her husband Onler Kom.
Karong Rekhupthang Kom was a pastor and teacher and was shot dead on 27 December 27, 2006 by unknown gunmen.
