Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey will play a scribe in 'Born to Run', an adaptation of a Christopher McDougall's book.
MoDougall's 'Born To Run: A Hidden Tribe, Super Athletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen' describes the story of a journalist, who is also an often-injured runner, tagging along Tarahumara Indians to learn how they can run hundreds of miles without rest or injury.
His adventure brings him to various places in North America including Mexico's Copper Canyons, reported Deadline.
McConaughey, 45, was last seen in Christopher Nolan-directed 'Interstellar' with actress Anne Hathaway.
