In Haryana, Mercury in Hisar settled at 40 deg C, up by 4 degrees above normal.
Ambala, Bhiwani, Narnaul and Karnal had highs of 35.8 deg C, 39 deg C, 38 deg C and 34.6 deg C respectively.
