"There are reasons for me to to take stand against the government. I had twice told Chief Minister (Laxmikant Parsekar) about those reasons. I have spoken to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar seven times about them (reasons)," Sudin told PTI.
Sudin and his brother Dipak Dhavlikar, who is the MGP president, were sacked from state cabinet recently following their outburst against Parsekar.
In the past, Dhavalikar brothers had accused Parsekar of taking Goa back by ten years during last two-and-half years.
"Few things related to cabinet should not be made public. The problems between us were created when Parrikar was elevated to the position of Defence Minister," the former minister said.
He said the kind of relation he had with Parrikar was different and that the MGP had no issues when the latter was in Goa.
"Right now we are in alliance with the BJP. Whether to continue in the alliance or not will be decided by a MGP committee after the poll code is announced. At this juncture there is no possibility of deciding anything. We have not decided," he said.
