Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today charged BSP supremo Mayawati with befooling people by saying no development work was done during SP regime in the state.
Addressing an election rally along with party MP Jaya Bachchan at Kuraoli in support of his father Mulayam Singh Yadav, he claimed that with in two years of coming to power, SP government has done tremendous development work which no other government of any state could do within such a short period.
He claimed that third front would form the government at the Centre and SP would be the largest party in it.
The Chief Minister said that soon more industries would be set up in Mainpuri.
Recounting SP's achievements, he claimed his government had waived farmers' loans and has worked in the field of health care to provide free medial aid to people.
Jaya Bachchan appealed to people to vote for Mulayam saying she was making the appeal as the "bahu" (daughter-in- law) of Uttar Pradesh.
