"Everything was in control when the Defence Minister came back after a very thoughtful, very useful and satisfying trip. So, I don't know why we should be getting into other items you have got now on the border.
"Mechanism to take care of any incident, any fact that may require any special attention. Defence Minister was (there) for strengthening that mechanism. I am sure that the mechanism will address (it) as and when needed," Khurshid told reporters when asked about the Chinese incursion in Ladakh area of Jammu and Kashmir recently.
In the latest instance, Chinese troops had on June 17 intruded in Chumar sector in Ladakh and smashed some bunkers besides cutting wires of cameras installed at the border post.
To a question on the leaked report of the Abottabad Commission on Osama bin Laden, Khurshid said it was for Pakistani authorities to act on it.
"It is an informal report. I don't know whether it is authentic... What is being reported. I am sure that the government of Pakistan will check the authenticity of the report and then take into account and decide how to move forward", he said.
"There is a new government elected there. We look forward to that new government addressing these issues as we move forward," said Khurshid on the the sidelines of a conference on 'Economic Diplomacy: A need for review' here.
