Medical care at the doorsteps by a business start-up

An initiative to provide all aspects of medical care at the doorsteps of the patient has been initiated in Assam by a start-up 'HOMELTH'.
"As part of the initiative, not just doctors and nurses, even physios, dieticians and paramedics are available on call 24x7x365 to respond to any urgent medi-care need," HOMELTH's founder and CEO Dr Simanta Sharma told PTI.
Ancillary health services like sample collection for lab tests, facilitating hospital admission of patients, delivery of medicines, conducting ECG, providing oxygen among other facilities are also available on call, he said.
The service, launched in August this year, is currently available within the city limits of Guwahati, though there are plans to extend HOMELTH's footprints further in other parts of Assam and Northeast.
