Meet public daily, solve their problems: AAP govt to officials

The AAP government has directed all heads of departments to meet the public and address their grievances every day.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today held a meeting with senior officials and directed them to meet with public between 12 noon and 1 PM every day, a senior official said.
All the ministers attended the meeting during which projects of the Arvind Kejriwal-led government was also discussed.
"Officials have been asked to hold public meeting between 12 noon and 1 pm daily in their offices and in case, they have an important official work at that time, the second in command will listen and address the complaints of the public," the official said.

Officials have been also been directed to maintain a record of all the complainants registering their grievances during the public hearing and integrate it with the public grievance system to ensure action was taken on them.
"Officials of Finance Department have also been asked to speed the process of clearing all files so that the work of implementing government's 70-point agenda can be done smoothly," the official added.
